That's exactly what mine did, but as I continued to hold it down, it spit out the disc after 10-20 seconds of holding the button.

I was able to take the radio out and took the radio apart to get my CDs(not that i care, it was CD-Rs). It wasn't too hard at all. Although i was dissapointed that CD Error FO is still FO-cking there.

...So i was leaving Vegas after a hard night of partying at my bro's batcherlor party... i'm about 3.5 hours away from home and in the first 20 mins of the drive my CD player does the ERROR FO thing and craps out. Of course i have new Linkin Park and Nickle Back CD's in there and nothing but country stations to listen to all the way back to California....

If you look at the dates of all these posts... it looks like the 2003 Coupes are due to fade and break (ERROR FO) all around this month! WTF! This is a conspiracy... MF's

Yes mine gave the error the beginning of this month too. (2003.5 g35) Just got the PA11-NIS installed, so I don't really care.

FO Error

Got the error on the way back from Phoenix.. That sucked!

99,500 miles on the odometer so I'll try to fix myself this weekend, otherwise need to take it right in - before I break 100k.

Yea... me too. Damn it Clarion. I took it out and looked at it. There's a tiny plastic gear thats toasted. I have 6 disks loaded and the plastic gear is between the top disk and the others and is driven by a little motor. I'm gonna give these guys a call tomorrow...

http://www.videoservicestop.com/radi...s/infiniti.htm

I might be able to replace the gear but i dont have time to screw with it.

Mine just did it too, '03 model only 30,000 miles on her too. Barely ever even play cd's, normally just listen to satellite. But the other day I hit the cd button and presto click click click click... CD Error FO. POS radio. No way I'm paying for a new one at 600 bucks. That's crazy for how crappy the thing is. And aftermarket is a pain too unless you do the double din conversion. Grrr. Guess I'll try and fix myself.
