Pauter rods
Koyo radiator (350z conversion)
JWT cams
JWT valve springs
APS TT (350z conversion
Custom 1 of 1 front fascia for APS FMIC
APS test pipes
APS dual exhaust (350z conversion)
KPtechnolgies stealth shift light (blue for now, white soon)
Crawford cast plenum
Custom return fuel system
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Samco hoses
ARP stud kit
KPtechnologies OEM window up module
KPtechnologies remote sunroof module
KPtech Nav 'OK' bypass
KPtech auto lock with speed switch

Thats just to give you an idea of what you are listening to while the video plays and has nothing to do otherwise with this teaser video.
The video shows KPtechnologies latest creation, still in the EARLY stages of development. Finally got a working prototype in my car, but it is JUST a prototype and the final version is still at least two months away.
Anyway, enjoy the .avi (its ~5mb)

Nice work! I was actually considering such a project to make the mirror tilt in reverse. What stopped me initially was the lack of closed loop feedback of the mirror position, so I figured after a few cycles the mirror would need some re-adjustment. Have you found this to be the case, or is the open loop control adequate?
Awsome Kevin. KP Technologies strikes again. For those who dont know, KP Tech devleops all sorts of little modules that make our cars more fun to drive. I have bought like 5 (i think) of these modules and can't say enough about them. Actually, I had a pretty detailed write up before somewhere here on Driver. I knew that Kevin may work on this tilt-down mirror project and I am glad to hear that its actually in development. Keep me updated on when it gets close to release. I'm looking forward to this one....

Here's my idea:
I live in an area with a lot of one way streets, so you often have to parallel park with the curb on the driver's side.
The way this module should work:
If you have the right indiciator on, and change into reverse, the right side mirror goes down. If you have left indicator on and change into reverse, the left mirror goes down. If you go into reverse with no indicator on, then no adjustment is made to mirrors as you are likely reversing back not parking.
Just my idea... is that even possible KP?
either way great module, and you can count me in!

Right now, I believe there will be a selector switch that can be used to dictate drivers side, passengers side, or both. There is already a software feature to prevent the mirrors from tilting if there is no need to tilt them.
The power mirror switch in the G is unlike any automotive switch I have ever seen, and, unfortunately there isn't a way to incorporate it in to the module. It may be possible to use the turn signals to dictate which mirror tilts, but I will have to do further research in to that. I already know that it won't be as simple as tapping a couple of wires at the turn signal staulk, as all those signals are multiplexed in a matrix (like the OEM fog switch).

Is there any way this can be made to move the mirror to an adjustable preset setting instead of just tilting? Just tilting is nice and is definately better than nothing, but I adjust my mirrors very wide to cover my blind spots... I don't see my car from the side mirrors so just tilting down won't help me park as much...
kevin,
now that I am in Centerburg 35 miles NE of Westerville, we'll have to hook up this spring/summer so I can check out your APS setup. You're in Dayton huh....home of the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA tourney? Buckeyes need to improve for them to get very far....
