I just got my G a few weeks ago .. 2004.5 IP 6MT. Lovin it .. so far no complaints. Just been doing alot of reading and searching on here.

For the stereo .. i was gonna get the 4080 box with 10w6 and jl 500/1.

I talked to a buddies friend and he can probabaly get me all phoenix gold equipment at his cost price.

Does anyone recommend what PG sub/amp would be a good setup for the 4080 box if i go that way .. or is it just better to go JL ??

BTW .. if it matters ill probably be going with the avic-d2 double din and new components up front with an alpine flex 4/3/2 amp

 

I would stick with the JL 500/1 for the 10w6. The only PG amp I would consider is the old stuff, M50/M75 or M100. Dont like the new PG stuff.

 

I would second the M series products, but wouldnt disregard the Ti/Zeropoints by any means.

 

I don't like new PG-"made"stuff at all. See if your bud can get the ZeroPoint components which are really Morels...

Current amps are weak sauce.

 

The Ti and ZeroPoint lines are badass!! I definately recommend them.

 

They werent really Zeropoints anymore tho...Elites. And you should know this sir.
