I have tryed b-quiet who makes brown bread and it sucked. It melted from the heat and turned my car into a black goooy mesh. It was a complete waste. I had to clean it all out with paint thinner and then put in dynamat exteme. Stick with dynamat, its way better.

I dynamatted all my doors, the trunk floor, trunk lid, trunk sides, and license plate. It is excellent stuff.

I agree with Acurasixty - BB blows. Dynamat is the best bet. It was the first, and is still the best, despite newcomers Cascade and Scosche Accumat. I just did my sedan with a few Xtreme kits and some DynaShield - tremendous improvement.

Re: Sound Damping?

It's sound deadening material. By lining your doors, floorpan, and trunk with it, you can reduce the amount of road noise that makes it's way into the interior of the car. Makes for a quieter highway ride, and probably helps the stereo sound better since it's not fighting the road noise.

If you're a performance freak, it's just dead weight.

I've also seen this stuff used on computer cases to quiet the hum of a myriad of internal cooling fans.

Dynamat users: Is it really making a big difference. I mean - that engine is loud anyway - and the seals on these cars are excellent. I left my car 25 degree weather last feb for 1 hour after driving all day and the thing was warm when i got in it still after 1 hour. My old integra would have been 25 degrees in about 5 minutes
