Keep in mind though, with the z enclosure you'll end up spending a lot more since you'll have to get 2 subs...

That is the biggest reason I like the ZEnclosure is that it would like better at the car show. Thanks a lot for the pic!! it looks freaking great. Since I am going with small subs and hoping to find a small amp, I am going to try to mount it on the top of the trunk.
Again thanks everybody

Hey guys. I like those set-ups too. Question, what are the mounting depts. of all these boxes? I was looking at the Infinity’s 10VQ Sub (new Magnessium alloy cone) or the JBL’s GTi Differential Subs. The Infinity’s are about 7 inches deep and the JBL’s are about 9 inch or so.
Thanks in advance.

i personally am waiting for 4080 to build a box for the 07 sedan. I currently have one 10W3v3 in a box i made myself & it is all the bass i need!! I actually have to keep the remote for the amp turned to about 40% or else it is just too much bass!!!
That being said....IMO two 10"s would be over kill & the loss of the back half a foot of my trunk + the loss of the use of the pass through would just not be worth it.
my vote is a 10W3V3 in the 4080.
On a side note...the box i built is 11.75' wide, 13.25' tall and 11.25' deep. it fits in the same spot as the 4080 & takes up just about as much space. the nice thing is i can move it around if i need to. I have only been using it for the past few weeks...but if 4080 does not have a box for the 07 sedan soon...i will probably just stick with my own box. It hits hard and low!!! the box only cost me around $20 to make....since i already had most of the materials. it will be hard to want to spend an additional $350 since i like the one i made so much!

I will try and get some pics up here tonight.

ok...here are the pics. i like to fire the sub into the back corner of the trunk (1st pic). for some reason it sounds the best. but for space i can turn the box just a bit & push it closer to the side of the car (2nd, 3rd & 4th pic). You will notice i put the terminals on the bottom of the box. this allows me to turn the enclosure any way i want without ever seeing any wires.
& if you were wondering...here is where i put my amp...

i have the 4080 and i have to put the bass to low or else it'll drone out the music.. not necessary to have strong bass unless u go to those competitions to see who has the loudest bass..
