Unhappy getting power wire through the fire wall

Can anyone tell me the best and easiest location to get the power wire through the fire wall of the 2006 coupe?

There is a huge grommit behind the battery; just poke it trough down into the car!
Don't forget to seal it after...

I drilled a hole in the firewall and put a rubber grommet in there. Whatever you do, make sure you seal it up, as water can seep through any opening in that area (I know from personal experiance)

I went to home depot and got some gasket sealent stuff. I seemed to seal up pretty well.

did you guys run your power wire on the passenger side as well or brought it over to the driver side? i believe all the input/output wires going to the bose amp are ran through the passenger side. Do you think i will get that whining noise if i ran my power down the passenger side? I just thought of this, wondering if i should switch sides but it will be a hassel.

bose system uses balanced inputs so noise from the bose HU to amp should not be a problem. i ran my wires on the right side without issues.

Here is a shot of my install with the power wire punched through the wire loom grommet and sealed with silicone sealant.
