I just ordered the JL Audio VR650-CSi speakers to replace the stock non-bose speakers in my 03 G35 sedan. I have read through the threads, but still have some unanswered questions. Does anyone know if:

1) The tweeter is a simple swap with the stock tweeter or requires some sort of modification or adapter?
2) Where do people normally mount the cross-over network? I am planning on dynamatting the doors with the extreme stuff.
3) Any tips on the dynamat? I am only going to put on one layer and want to make sure that there is access to the window components.
4) Since my car is an 03.5 model, I have heard on a post that the stock adapter separates from the pioneer speaker (it is not fused together) which is unlike the 04/05 models. Does anyone know if that is true?
