Installing Sirius Radio?

I am looking to put Sirius Satellite radio in my car. I have an 06 it it is already pre installed. Do you guys know somewhere good in NYC that can do the job. Im a bit skeptical of having just anyone take off the whole middle panel and working with it. I would like to have someone good do it. If you guys can help I would appreciate it. Dealer asked 599 plus tax to do it. I think that is a bit pricy. A local place by me said 200. They have done other work on my other car but I wont let them do it on this because I ont think they are the best. Can anyone help please.

Why would you have to take out the middle console if it's already prewired? It's really easy to do, really straight forward. Basically all you have to do it plug in the tuner and run the antenna. What's your email address, I can email you the instructions. I say you save yourself a couple hundred bucks and do the install yourself, but then again that's all up to you.

Dude it takes 20 minutes to do it yourself if you put the antenna on the rear-deck... The unit goes in the trunk under the plastic cover next to the spare tire...

Is there anyway to keep the antenna inside? I want to put it behind the rearview mirror. I dont want anythink on my roof or trunk. Basically I dont want the antenna to show. Is there a way to do so? And also, you dont have to take the middle console out at all to get behind the radio correct? Everything is dont in the trunk?

I don't think that it's going to be possible to mount the antenna behind the rear view mirror, not unless you extend the antenna wire to run from the tuner in the trunk to the rear view mirror. Too much work I think. Just mount it on your rear deck lid and be done with it, it's a lot easier that way.

Sorry, no pics of antenna on the rear deck. I mounted mine on the roof of my car. You can kind of see it here:

Just put it inside on the rear deck in the place of the child seat anchor. Everything is done in the trunk area. It works fine through the rear window as long as you don't put on metallic tint
