regarding the *retrofit* SAT 'pre-wire' cable

How is this cable wired? Let's disregard the larger 10-pin 'pass through' harness portion (used to tap 12v power source?) and just look at the 12-pin harness on either end of the cable. Is this a simple straight through *exntesion* (from head-unit end to the trunk end)? ... or did any pins get swapped in the process? Yes, I'm aware the harness are diff from both end, but they have the same basic pin-out format.

Thanks in advance.

Hey THX. I think i'ts a different pin-out... I looked at the harness end (in the trunk) and the wires are completely different than the ones on the radio, which unfortuantly means in order for me to hack around I need to pull the radio.

Yeah ... I'd figure the pin-outs would of been changed. That sucks. We'll have to find someone who just purchased the *retro kit* cable and have them check it before they install it.

Anyone out there who owns the cable that is still uninstalled?

Check out the investigation muran0 has done on the SAT connection for a Murano:
http://members.rogers.com/muran0/Main.htm

He has included a cable drawing.

Also check the fresh alloy thread:
