5zigen 17x10 and Kumho v710 275/40R17
For those wondering if they fit: Wheels are 5zigen FN01R-C 17x10 with a +25 offset. They appear to weigh 21 lbs by my bathroom scale. The tires are Kumho V710 275/40R17. Clearance between the inside of the front wheel/tire and suspension upright is tight with about 5-7 mm of clearance. Brembo brake clearance is ample. Just drove around on them for the first time to scrub the new tires in and no rub so far. Will be trying them out at an autox this weekend. I have 17x10 w/RT615 all around, +12 w/275/40 in back and +25 w/255/40 in front. Been running that for a while. I wanted the front to be stretched a little for better steering feedback. Running 275 in front made the steering feel a bit heavy. At one point I was running Slicks at 245/40 in front. at 255/40 with street tires, it feels nearly the same...just can't go as fast
Otherwise, looks good.

While scrubbing the tires I was giving the car some low amplitude, high frequency steering input and was surprised by how tight it felt. However, that might not be saying much as I'm coming from 275/35R18 hoosiers on 18x8 wheels which make slalom rich courses a challenge. 2 autoxes ago a course was laid out on the TMS road course which had 6 seperate slaloms to keep speeds down. I didn't make a single clean run.
Aside from a brake pedal cover to help with heel-toeing and a K&N drop-in filter my car is otherwise stock (i.e. stock shocks, springs, sways, alignment, exhaust, etc). I stiill have the hoosiers on stock size wheels and I plan to hop back and forth from f stock to e street prepared. The thing is we don't have any real fast people here locally in f stock, but we have Madarash in esp and I'd like to try to chase him. I'm generally 3-4 secs behind him on a 40 sec course with my hoosiers, so I have a way to go and I thought I couldn't go wrong with slapping some more rubber on the car. I plan on entering a divisional here in aug in f stock, though. Hopefully, some competition shows up.

Wheels/tires worked great this weekend. No rub. Need to play around with pressures, though. Was 8th out of 42 cars and 3 secs (on a 70 sec course) from fastest time of day. By comparing a cohort of 11 autoxers across this event and an event before, I calculated that the new wheels/tires shaved 2.1% off my times compared to my 275/35R18 Hoosiers and 18x8 wheels.
