anyway, i checked around for the knocking noise. it may be my diff mounts; i just took it apart to look at it. there's a washer/spacer that may have been put on backwards...oops....
at least nothing is broken! it was the first 750 miles i put on that cusco LSD and it held up well!

brakes weren't fading.
stoptech doesn't recommend the Axxiss ULT pads for road course only because it may leave deposits on the torotrs that can cause vibrations down the line.
trying to find some Ferodo DS2500 pads since I've read some good reviews. If I can't get that, might try the Porterfield R4 pads. want something that can still be used for the streets but will also work better on the track as compared to the ULTs

i definitely faded that day. brake fade at star mazda or the bus stop isn't very fun. luckily i didn't hit dirt. i am still on the stock oem brembo setup with brembo slotted rotors. i will be upgrading to a two piece unit up front to help dissipate the heat. are you planning to upgrade from beginner?
