This is a great clip of a Mugen tuned Honda S2000 going around the Nuremberg Ring. Remember the GT-R can do this a minute FASTER in STOCK trim.

1 minute slower with half the power? Especially with all those sections where he's obviously not going all out due to accidents/etc?

1 minute slower? Did you watch the whole video? And besides you're comparing it to a car that has 2 more cylinders and it's a twin turbo. S2K handled pretty well in the course love the screaming engine and the downshift are just awesome to hear. Just like Mike said I'll take it anytime of the day.

 

I would think for every second you knock off below the 9 second mark, the $$$$ add up pretty fast.

 

After watching it a second time...

I'd have to say it's a stock AP1...

Mugen's car's VTEC engages much earlier, and he doesnt have the high speed stability that the Mugen car would.

Also.. passenger is FTL
