One Piece Driveshaft
I was just wondering if anybody has replaced their 2 piece steel driveshaft with a 1 piece aluminum one. If you have, was there any noticeable performance gains? I was thinking about having the Driveshaft Shop build me one.
Most of us (240sx world) reported a bit of increase vibration and resonance in 4th gear (1:1) with the 1 piece AL one. But the vibration issue doesn't exist with the 1 piece STEEL one.
Both behaves like lighten flywheel, great stuff.
beside using DSS, you can give shaftmaster a try, they are a lot cheaper than DSS. Very popular among 300zx/240sx folks

PM ibkarlito about his 1-Piece Driveshaft, he is the only one I seen run one. Or maybe you could ask around on My350Z.com, since they are the one's mostly to use a lighter driveshaft/
