Anyone here familiar with the track in VA Beach? Recommended tires and suspension for it?

You talking about ACU-4? Great venue.

 

TSCC just found out today the ACU-4 is not going to be available this year. We held our first event in Pungo at the old Coast Guard air strip. It is a small unobstructed concrete area that we have to lay out for multiple laps, but it fun and challenging. Look at autocross.us for upcoming events in the area. The local SCCA club ODR is holding their first event this weekend in Pungo.

 

Yep, base commander had safety/security concerns and said no mas. It's a shame.

 

03threefiftyZ got some suspension parts I took off my G35 recently to put it back stock if you interested checkout the classifieds this site or give me a call. Also have some Weldsports 18 x 10 with Kumhos that will blot right on your car.

Thanks, but my car is already built to pretty much the max of BSP. DA koni's, hypercoils, CT front bar/hotchkis rear, RPF1's, A6's, clutch type LSD, 280whp, etc, etc, etc. I'll see if anyone else may be interested, though.

 

Have you been to any auto crosses around here yet? I didn't see any R rated tires in your mods list. I stopped running the G35 two years ago and I know all the BSP guys with my PAX I was working them over.

KidStealthG35 I think you PM'd me on a part I had for sale. You need to pick up some of the stuff I have left before it is gone. Looks like you need some suspension pieces and maybe the Tein coil overs I have for sale. I don't have them for sale yet but I have a set of Weldsports 18 x 10 with Kumhos 710 R rated ready to mount on your car. They are what you need to autocross on.

I generally stick to D.C., Philly, Susquehanna regions. I haven't been down to ACU-4, but was hoping to make one this season. I coned away non-cart FTD at the D.C. SCCA test day on Sunday....fail. Would have still only been ~10 in pax, however with the spec evo pax (BSP).
