Hey guys,

What sort of tire pressures are the fast guys running on stock G35C's with michelins?

I noticed on my most recent autox with 40psi cold all the way around (probably too much) some really bad wear on the outside of the tires. Here are some pics: http://www.idanim.com/main/autocross...-23/tires.html. Any thoughts?

thanks,
Bala

I was told to bump up the front tires higher than the rears to help out w/ the understeer. I ran 39f/36r at my last run. My tire has the feathered edges on each tread block like the 2nd photo in your link shows. This showed up soon after I got the car, before I ever auto-x'ed it. Think this is normal? Should I add more camber?

I ran 37 cold all around at an autox previously and I noticed that there was wear further down into the sidewalls compared to this most recent autox which I ran at 40 cold all around. I take all this to mean that the tire was doing a good job of holding its shape with the higher temps, but due to body roll I was still riding the outside edge of the tire. That's why I'm guessing more neg camber might help wear the tires more evenly. I know I need to focus more on driving right now, but if I keep wearing the tires like this I'm gonna need a new set $oon.
