It looks official. http://www.scca.org/_filelibrary/Fil...solo_rules.pdf

Now, I need to hunt around for some light preferably used/cheap 18x8's.

Hmm thats interesting. Any reason why it was moved from BStock? I thought it was just placed in BStock last year for the first time.

It was moved due to it's weight (too heavy), wheelbase (too long) and intrusive tractional control (can't be turned off). I don't know about this tractional control problem, though. I've never felt the thing engage during an autocross.

several road tests showed that even with vdc off, some sort of computer nanny kicks in to smack you for driving like a turd.

I wonder if the 350z has the same restriction... hmmmmmmmmmm...

By chance do you have any links for these road tests? For some silly reason you can't search on 3 letter words like vdc with this forum software.

I've never felt VDC do anything odd when it's been turned off. This includes dry skidpad exercises and several overzealous trailling-throttle entries...

I mean seriously, I knew B Stock was way too tough for the G35C to compete in. (S2000, MR2.....) but F Stock? hahaha. This rule change might be enough to get me back into AutoX and kick some ***.
