It was moved due to it's weight (too heavy), wheelbase (too long) and intrusive tractional control (can't be turned off). I don't know about this tractional control problem, though. I've never felt the thing engage during an autocross.
several road tests showed that even with vdc off, some sort of computer nanny kicks in to smack you for driving like a turd.
