There are 3 screws on the outside (maybe a 4th). That will disconnect it from the housing. On the inside there is a tiny screw holding the harness onto the ballast. Take that out, then disconnect the harness. That is all.

Use a flathead screwdriver and pop up the tabs. After that all you need to do is be careful. I start at one side and press against the bumper with one hand. "Tap" the base of the inside of the grill and it should work its way out. There are 4-6 slots that the base of the grill slides into. Those are what you need to focus on.

The write up is definitely good...... but a bit deceiving for those who have oem bumpers.... its even more of a b**ch to reach that inner bolt through the wheel well

so what happens to the harness for the clearance lights on the 03-05 when you install the 06-07>? Do you use that for the city lights?

Hi, I tried this today but for some reason I can't seem to unclip the harness. The other thing is that the wires are so short that the headlights only move out by an inch. Any ideas?

No need to rewire, just plug and play.
