I took a picture of the second one from inside using 3 spacer as well but it was no where near the sharpness or the color of the first projection, so I cut my own spacer out bring it to 4 spacers total which cleaned it up nicely. But on the outside shot it was way,way off. It had no sharpness and way to much color compared to the first one.
Your going to want visibility before fancy color. Remember that.

Tru. Distance wise both seem to have the same level of sharpness. But I need a better backdrop then just trees. And fresh bulbs, these that I'm useing are cheap-o's off eBay that are almost 2yrs old. Both are 8k bulbs but one is white and the other some weird color output.

How did your cut off turn out?

Lol it won't be done for a long time. I just got my lenses and the car is in storage about 10 hours away!

Do you know if the 05 reflector housings you and I got can be swapped out for the internals of the 06 projectors without heavy modification?

Do mean the fog lamp part? And you like to put a 06 projection where the fog lamp is?

Basically a housing swap. So 05 housings with 06 projectors in it.

**Honestly, this is the first time I've done something like this and I have no idea what the inside of 05 headlights look like**

I don't see why not.. I mean the houseing are the same size, right. Mounting and aiming them would hard since there may not be the three bolts like the 06s use.
