the rubber piece is not sold separately from shift ***** that are sold specifically for G35 / 350z.. .this does not include the GT-Rubber/ Titanium shift ***** or other "legacy" *****...

Yes. I ran a USB extension cable to my CarPC so that I can upload new music with my flash drive.

i was looking into replacing my shift **** & wondering how the heck do i get it off. it does seem like alot to do just for a shift ****. the nismo one looks great. then add the sport pedels & that would set off the interior. nice write up.....

yeah, its kinda a lot when you want to do it right b/c you won't want to mess up your transmission shift rod.

i believe the OEM **** is super glue on from the factory -- so yes it will take quite a bit of your muscle to get the darn thing off.

rubber piece

I've seen this done so you cant see the rubber piece under the shift ****. Either that, or you dont use the rubber piece. Looks much better IMO. Anyone know how you would do this?

Some ***** are harder to take off than others...Some you can just twist off easily and others you'll have to go through the process in this thread. As for not putting the rubber piece under the ****. If you don't it looks like ****...It might look okay in pictures, but it doesn't look clean and finished in person. I have a nismo titanium **** too and it looks better with the rubber grommet.

around a 1/2 pound or less I would say.
