Nissan/Infiniti just needs to resolve this issue as a whole. In my Z, in my Altima, in my Murano, in my Maxima, and in my G all the drivers seats had the rocking issue. Its BS and it they should fix them even if you are beyond warranty period. You would think that having the same issue over their entire product line would raise a freakin flag...

I'd consider submitting this to my dealership as a technical service bulletin, but I'd know I'd get that look from them like I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. It's the same one I get when I tell them to update my transmission software with their Consult computer. Sometimes it amazes me that most of these techs can't think outside the box when it comes to fixes like this. Doesn't it make a little more sense to adjust the seat frame a bit rather than spending $500+ to replace a seat frame that isn't the problem to begin with

One thing I've noticed is that this problem is heavily influenced by humidity. If it's been rainy for a day or two, then I'll sometimes get a faint creek. Once the air drys out, the sound disappears.
