Good idear. Hopefully can find one cheap, if not might be cheaper to just buy the skyline sedan grill.

you can cut out every other vertical slat on the sedan grill and you'll be perfectly fine.

^To make what out of plastic? Bondo was used to fill in in gap in the middle.

Zackt69 made plastic pieces to fit in the spaces of the grill. i was curious how he made the out of plastic?

^Oh, not sure. But those were prototype pieces, Zack never had those made. I know that ShanesG also did this. He made a mold to fill in the gaps, not sure what he used. Try sending him a PM or maybe he'll post a response here.

thanks for the thread. just did mines. i used sheet metal to make some supports to fill in the gaps. easier than i thought it would be. i'll post some pics of it later when i get my car back. just got my nismo front put on and my body shop is painting my grill for me.

^Haha, that was all Chris (bigc) with that joke. We were pretty light headed from working with the bondo inside his apartment though...hehe.

bumping the old post up!

i was wondering what you guys used to cut the back of the grill, this is where the emblem came off from. just dont wanna mess it up.
