I think bug and tar remover would be both better and safer

i just purchased a 2004 g35x - anybody wanna help me out?

the de-badging i am familiar with but since it is a 2004 do you think that de-badging the back will leave "ghost" streaks where the lettering was? - i mean it is 8 year old pain underneath.

did you end up de-badging? I am worried about the same thing with my 06 and wanted to know if you ended up with ghost letters or not

When i debadged my car, i bought some goo gone from the dollar tree and it came off after like 20-30 rubs with a microfiber cloth. I also used some floss to take off the emblem first.

use goo gone from home depot or the dollar tree. It is paint safe and comes off slowly, which is a good sign. That is a sign that the solution is not too strong.
