Thanks for the DIY! Did you amp down hard on the screws when you put the JDM's in? I'm still waiting for UPS, but I have everything ready to go when they get here =D

just tighten the screws until you cant anymore.
you should be fine

i love my JDM tails
there alot darker then the 03-05 Oem ones.

i sometimes get out of my car while coming home from work, and while the suns setting i turn on my lights and walk around and look at my car in the night..

haha

Not crazy at all dude, just a pure enthusiast bro! I bought mine after seeing them on your car and Tbrillz, I have an 04' and think the JDM's are a great upgrade aesthetically for the back! I dig the orange, I can't wait until UPS drops mine off!

Haha the waiting game DOES suck, each truck I heard I was sure it was UPS! But they didn't get here until 6:30pm pac time!

So how much are the OEM ones?
Saw someone offering to trade his 06 tails for my 05's + $100. Assuming they're in as great condition as he says they are, I'm wondering if this is a fair deal. If not, I may as well hold off and order the JDM ones.

Very fair deal, I would jump on it if I were you.

Besides I think the USDM 06 tails look much better and more cohesive than the JDM ones, no offense to anybody in this thread just my opinion.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure. Hoping he agrees to take my spare 05 headlights & tails + $50 (to me, LOL) instead of my tails + $100 (to him).

How hard are you supposed to pull on the black piece, i pulled hard enough that it's not coming off.
