Do you have to take the door panel out to change the bulbs?

 

no just stick a flat head screw driver behind the plastic housing (closest to the front of the car if the door is open) and pry the cover down/back towards the back of the car and you should be able to pull the bulbs out with your hands and put the new ones in (it's a PITA) but that's how I did it
