Well today I had my door all apart and followed the above directions. All went well except for reassembly. I got the motor cleaned out and back together, yet still had the same problem. I disassembled the motor and sanded down the contact to expose some copper then reassembled. Works great now!

I have recently been repairing the windows in a couple of nissan altimas and a maxima same book work same concepts.

2021 and this thread is still helping people out!
I also opened up the motor, lightly sanded the contacts that had started turning green from corrosion. Blew out all the nasty dust in the cover and applied a small amount of grease on the bare shaft areas. Put It back together and it started working perfectly. Didn’t even need to do a relearn.

My symptoms were that the window was stuck up and motor wouldn’t move up or down. But every now and then the motor would move about a 1/4 inch if I tried the button. So I knew it was getting power. Cleaned it out expecting to need a new motor. Free this time though. Good luck everyone.
