Any legalities involved in having blue fog lights? Thanks.

Just finished the install with the same Luminics H4 6000K Pure Blue fogs as GP.

The write up was great, thank you so much!

the one thing I would change is that, to access the first 2 Clips that are mostly behind the wheel, it was impossible for me to access them and get the clip out with the wheel turned in. I turned the wheel all the way OUT to get at the first two clips, then I turned it all the way in to get the rest, I reversed to process to put it back by turning the wheel back out at the end for the last two clips.

Either way, GREAT WRITE UP! THANKS SO MUCH GP!

Pics to come at night when the lights will be bright enough =]!!!!

Pictures

Here's a pic with one blue fog in and one stock so you guys can see the difference.

flash makes the light look white, but it's very blue in real life.

Night Pic

Here's a night pic, the flash makes the light look white, but it is very blue to the naked eye.

I am really happy with this mod.

Oh yeah and please excuse the filmy head light lens, need to go get some 3M Polish and 3M cleaner tomorrow and give 'em a good once over.

Thanks for the DIY write-up Grant. I was waiting for somebody to offer a hand in installing my 3000K fogs, but now that I see how simple the process is I will give it a try.

Excellent. I've also got a set of 6000K bulbs for my HID's.

Sash- Nice picks, im glad i could be of service. I have skinny arms, that's why i could get to the clips easily with the wheel turned in, but it sounds like you solved the problem pretty easily, the lights look good as well.

amg35- There arent any legalities of have blue foglights in california (that i know of) if you're worried about it just turn them off when you see a cop. I passed plenty of cops with mine and they dont seem to care, if it was an HID that was as blue as these lights THEN the cops would care.

codeflux- cant wait to see pics of the luminics on your car.

Boris- no problem, glad i could help, post up some pics when you get the 3000K's and 6000K hid's in.

Igor (codeflux) helped me install them this evening, but the pics he took were pathetic. I'll get some pics up tomorrow, but the combo looks killer. Oh, and it turns out my fogs are 2500k, not 3000k.

so, you know how i wrote that i ordered Luminics 6000k?... well, they didn't charge my card, and when i emailed them, the dude said that they have no record of me ordering anything from them...

i must have lost my marbles...

so, i made another order, taking note of the order number this time. hopefully the lights will get here soon.
