Thanks for the write-up. I have had osram silverstars sitting around for the last 5 months, just waiting to be installed. Took me around 15 min per side thanks to your directions. A bit dissapointed in the osrams - hardly any whiter than stock. Time to keep looking!

Anyone have night pics of the H4 Super Plasma GT-X bulbs in their fogs. Wanna see this supposedly purple low beam look it describes on PIAA's website.

If you have any questions at all or you need pictures with arrows or something feel free to ask. Hopefully this will help a couple people out that dont know what they're doing. This took all of 30 mins with snapping the pictures in between. So it would only take about 10-15 mins each side if you follow the directions and dont run into any problems.

Good Luck with your fog light installs.

Props on a great DIY.

I bought Luminics 5150k H4 halogens from prolightstar.com, $29 shipped.

While these matched my stock xenons pretty well, as soon as I upgraded the xenons to 6000k, of course they were mismatched again. The pictures Luminics uses on their packaging is pretty deceptive; their "Pure Blue" 6000k is probably what I should have bought, but their pics make the light look pure blue too, and that's not what I wanted. So I went with the 5150k which are too white compared to my 6000k xenons (but in their product pictures it looks like it'd match 6000k xenons). This doesn't show up in pictures well, but the pictures sure show the difference between stock and 6000k bulbs.

I bought cheap xenon bulbs from eBay for $28 shipped, they've got a 1yr warranty so we'll see. Even with the higher color temperature, they're way brighter than my stock bulbs probably because the stock bulbs are 3yrs old.

Here's some pics:

Stock left, 6000k right.

Without fogs on.

With fogs on: Luminics+6000k xenons left, stock fog/HID right.

I don't know about other sedans, but for the 07', I found it far more simpler to remove my intake/filter and replace the fogs from under the hood, than to remove the wheel well. I spent an hour removing that wheel well and it was such a pain.

I looked under the hood, and had my fogs replaced in 10 minutes on each side. Glad I'm done.

access to the headlights is completely different in the 2nd gen sedans, as you found out... much much easier.

Well jacking the car up would possibly make things a little easier to get to, not to mention it would probably mean you didn't have to turn the wheels since the gap would be large enough for you to work in... at least I would think so.
