6MT Coupe
Will be doing this install soon. Thanx Gilley, nice write up. Not going to use spacers on front. A-Arms alone should give me enough positive to get back into spec.
Currently -1.8 with (think) a 1" drop in front with Cusco Zero 2's. I've changed my drop so many times I forget what factory height was to compare
Anyone play with their caster specs for advantage (if any), being that's adjustable as well with these?
Thanx and I'll let everyone know how mine goes.

Lower Ball seat part #???
Alright, so I have been search for the right part number for these lower ball bushings and the dealership is worthless.
Is the correct part number for the rubber bushing 40173-(AL500 or 33P00)? One says lower and one says upper but in multiple post about the A-arm install both part numbers are referenced.
Thanks for the help. Don't want to order an then have to wait again for the right parts.
Thanks!!!

The caster is built in to the balljoints. Unless you meant the camber spacers. In that case, you do not have to install them if you do not need the additional camber range.
SPC does not package these without the shims. However, you can not install them and then sell them to someone whom only needs the shims.
My experience
Since we have this install guide, I'll make a few additions:
Bring PB blaster and give that upper ball joint nut a blast prior to disassembly.
To remove the conical bushing from the A-arm, you will need a "PITMAN ARM PULLER" in one of the smaller varieties available. Best bet, bring your old A arm to Autozone with the bushing still attached. They can match up a pitman arm puller to your needs and rent it to you easily. I bought a gear puller and it didn't work. I broke that thing trying to get that bushing off. Granted, it was a crappy gear puller but I thought it would accomplish what I needed. It didn't.
The suspension will need to be compressed and decompressed during disassembly. A jack does the work fine if you have the car sitting on a jack stand. I have two jacks so I just used the other one to move the suspension via the lower control arm.
After reading these how to's, I still had 4.5hr into the first arm NO SPACERS. Granted, I was alone and I was learning. The second front arm should take me considerably less time because I know now what I'm doing and have all my tools ready. Plus, that time just makes me feel more connected to the car. I love it when my hard work pays off and I can see that setting the arm to 0 camber and caster has set the right front to a level that will, after a full alignment, give me the sort of tire wear I was after from the get go.
