im fine with the S-Tech's front springs, but the rear sucked for my taste.

i'd try the hotchikis and 350Z H-techs if it wasn't for my current setup.
otherwise, maybe the 400lbs or less coilovers

i think im going with 350z h-techs. similar ride to stock, slightly improved handling and gets rid of that wheel gap without having to worry too much about scraping.

Word, 350Z H. Techs will probably suite your needs best. I kinda wish I went that route now instead of my S. Techs. But oh well, coilovers are in my future

Why are you guys not satisfied with the s techs? Is the ride quality bad?

the spring rates for the rears are too soft on the s techs. they're even softer than oem so you're going to introduce more roll transfer to the front thereby increasing understeer.

I have never been a fan of progressive springs, which S-techs are. I am about to order Z H-techs as well and pair them with revised Z-shocks. I only heard great things about H-techs.

Hey guys.. Kind of a thread jack, so I apologize.
But what springs would give the G35c the biggest drop without needing camber plates and other alignment tools? Also nothing SOFTER than stock, preferably a stiff spring.

The H-Tech sounds great, but I want to know if there is a lower spring available.
I am new to the G world. Coming from an S2000 world.

the tanabe springs are stiff and drop the car about 2 inches, tein s techs for a 350z are about the same in drop and are stiffer then stock. the eibachs can get you pretty low as well but are progressive rate.

all tein g35 springs are softer then stock.

Are H&R progressive or linear? I think they drop about as low as Eibachs, which seems to be the max before alignment tools are needed.

Wouldn't those first drops you mentioned require a camber kit though? If not I'll prob be in the market for the 350z s.tech. I understand that the car is a luxury coupe, but I'm also coming from an S2000 world and so the ride is a little too soft for my tastes.

You also stated that the s.techs for the g35 coupe are softer than stock. Do you know what the stock spring rates are for a g35 coupe with sport suspension?
