Caliper Bracket Bolt Size

Hello,

I need to turn the front rotors on my 05, G35 sedan. I got the caliper off but i still need to remove the caliper bracket that is preventing the rotor from coming off all the way. Can anyone tell me what the size is of the two bolts that are holding the caliper bracket in place? I'm thinking 22mm but I want to make sure. Those suckers are on their tight and I'd rather not used a cresent wrench.

Thanks!

22? wow that seems kind of big... i know on X5's they have a 17... just use a long 3/4 drive ratchet... and if you dont have a long ratchet use a steel pole on the end for some extra leverage

I have a 20mm and it's too small. I'm thinking around a 22mm but want confirmation.

I removed my calipers to clean and paint them. The torque member is on there and is torqued to about 113 lbs plus the factory used thread lock on them as well. For the front a 7/8 open end wrech works best. To break them I learned my lesson that you can't use brute force as I ripped my leg on the dust shield trying to break them free. What you need to use is the wrench and then a rubber mallet. Hit the end of the wrench a couple of times, not real hard, just enough to break the threadlock and you'll be able to remove them. They're a bitch to torque back on as well so be prepared. You don't have a lot of space if you're using jack stands so you'll have to put some muscle on the torque wrench in tight quarters but it can be done.
