Wow, thank you so much for the detailed reply. Im surprised you didn't say "keep searching" for that jackpot.
I read it a few times, trying to understand the earlier parts, but I think I got it now.

Shocks are what, $600? And springs are about $250? For a full set, that is about $850+.
Good coilovers still seem to be in the $1500 (new) range, so twice the price. That is the point of no return. Hmmm....

I will keep thinking and trying to decide. I'd really like to get away with just RSR springs on stock shocks. I will probably do that first and then decide on shocks. What will the shocks do mainly? Are they also adjustable like Koni Yellows? Will they just provide better length for bumpstops in aggressive driving?

Thanks again.

Typically the camber curve on non McPearson strut Nissan suspension is 0.83 [0.7-0.9] degrees more negative camber per 1.0" lowered regardless of method.

WOW so if I lower 1'', I will be almost 1 full degree more of negative camber!! That sucks...
Is that for both front and rear?
Holy cow... Haha surprising...

I'm not going to tell you to search in a area that I very specifically specalize in, as in where I invest my own time and efforts.

Each brand of shock will mean two different things. Both will have the shorter bodies and piston shaft lengths to help keep you off the bump stops. Where the two shocks differ is that the Tokico's are double adjustable (compression and rebound) whereas the Koni's are rebound only. Unless your plan on running very high front swaybar rates, I can't tell you that you need $900 Koni's vs $500 Tokico's. I've driven on the D-specs, loved them, highly recommend them. I do have Koni's on my car, but I specifically needed their rebound only control and how the front shocks have removeable spring perches.

You know your stuff. That's all I have to say.
If I go with a lease over 12 months, I'll be getting some Tokiko's to mate with my RSR springs.
