Found the problem with my new HPS pads.

Since I complained about them so much I figured I'd share my findings...

In short, my new Hawk HPS pads were creating an insane amount of brake dust. No answers from installer, no help from Hawk, no one would lift a finger to help, really. I finally convinced the installer (Stillen)to remove the pads and inspect them.

What they found was excess bonding material along the edges of the pads which was making the calipers bind-up and not release away from the rotor.

Therefore, after only a day of driving, I had two weeks worth of dust on my wheels. Needless to say they replaced the faulty pads and all is good.

The HPS pads now create VERY little dust and braking is decent.
