I was driving and hear a beep sound. One minute later, the Tire Pressure Light came on. My appointment to the dealer is next week. It is save to drive with the light on? I did check all tires and the pressure are fine. Did this happen to anyone else? Can I continue to drive while the light is on until I take my car to the dealer next week? It is safe?

what pressure are they at, On mine the light would come on at around 28-29 psi.

 

WHS^^ Just check the cold tire pressures. The tire pressure sensors normally reset themselves after you restart your car. Your pressure could be down a pound or two. Mine does this sometimes. If it persists and your tire pressures are in spec then your dealer can recalibrate them.

 

^+1, it's safe but you should check your pressure. Top it off with some air and the light should reset until your appointment. Let the dealer know what your pressure was when you measured it.

 

I had a tire patched and a week later on the highway the TPS light came on. I checked all the tires. It was the one that was repaired. Had 44psi! Stupid shop. Lowered to 35. Light went off the next day.
