** Eibach Pro-Kit for G35C or Tein S-tech for 350z; better setup? **

I have a '06 G35C which I need to lower. I'm running 275/30/19 tires in the rear which made the gap a staggering +2.3" wide.

I've looked on the spring spec sheet and I'm debating over the Pro-Kit for the G Coupe or the Tein S-tech for the 350z. Both springs will lower the car roughly 1.0-1.2 in for front and rear. The main differences are the spring’s rates. The Eibach as a bone jarring stiffness of 35% increase to an already high rear spring rate of 427. The Tein will result in a decrease of 6% in the rear.

My question, why is the rear for the G35C so stiff? I’m looking to stiffen the front so the car doesn’t dive/plow when I go hard into corners. Eibach increase 7% while Tein is 23%.

What do you guys suggest? I plan to track the car and enter it into a drift day. I’m leaning towards the 350Z Tein S-tech. I just hope I don’t run into installation issues. Thanks in advance.

I have the Eibach pro's and I like the look. Lowers the car enough to the point that I scrape on just about anything. Ride is not that bad. I thought it would be worse. Also be prepared to buy a camber kit along with it if you don't want to eat up those tires.

are you referring to the sportline or the pro-kit? isnt the pro just a mere 1" drop? usually not aggressive enough for camber kit, but recommended of course.

I would go with 350z s-techs.

Pro kit. My car was way out of whack when I installed it. I was told that it was because I have after market rims though.

im surprised the prokit would lower the car that far. it almost looks like your rear tires are tucking under the fender.

can anyone share to post pics of their g35 with eibach pro kit or the tein s-tech for the 350z?

How much does the eibach pro-kit lower the car exactly? I know its 1" but it seems more then that. Can someone confirm this?

I have the prokits (350z model) with tokico d-specs (350z model).

A couple of pics I found on my work computer.

thanks for the pictures. but you also changed the struts. i've found that struts tend to lower the car even more so the measurement may be off. *when i put mkiv supra parts on my sc300*

how does the pro-kit z springs ride compared to the g?

I have heard there is not much diffrence between the two. Infact the G35 pro kit lowers the car 1.1" in the front as compared to the 350Z set 1.0" in the front. The specs for both kits are the same for the rear 1.0" drop. If you want to see pics check my car domain sight in my sig. Just FYI I am on the stock struts.

My brother has done same as well on his sc.

The ride has been pretty nice so far. I was surprised of the ride quality and handling while riding on near stiff on the tokico d-specs because of those 20's. I'd recommend prokits to anyone. "They're Grrrr-ate!"

i read in the sticky that the 350z naturally sits 0.5 inches lower then the g. so a 1 inch drop on the 350z is really 1.5 for us.

thats why i figure i buy the 350z s-techs that lower the car 0.7, add the 0.5 difference, totally 1.2inch drop.

your drop looks lower then 1." im running the same tire size and my gap is four fingers tall or 2-2.5" gap from tire to fender on sport package. looks like you have no gap right now.

So are you lowered on the G35 or 350z pro kit?
