Has anyone ever used those polisher ***** that attach to the drill? Or should we just stick to the cleaner wax and wheel wx for Volks? Bobshuai let me know how yours ends up after you finish, I have the same problem. I couldn't find the thread when I searched before.

i wouldnt use the power ball for you volks maybe for your oem rims. but not the volks. I only use that ball for my oem rims because they are already messed up from the previous owner. but once mine are powdercoated none of that. Just think what happens of the powerball slips and your drill smacks into your rims.. dont risk that!

If mother ball not enought, get this:
polish aluminum with drill attached aluminum polishing kit, Start at 99 cents on ebay. Use it on aluminum not on painted wheel, it could polish off the paint.

I think you will need to redo the paint job on the rim, my rims has weird stain and I think these are two different type of problems.

Those may be stains from minerals in the water. We get that all the time here in Florida. Try a little vinegar on an inconspicuous place and see if it will take the spots off. I do that with my windshield when the sprinkler pisses on it and spots it.

I was shopping at Pepboys for polishing stuffs, when one of the customers overheard me talking to the clerk. He told me he does professional auto detailing. He took a look at my problem and he used this product called Meguiar's All Metal Polish on some stains. It took out 80% of the stain.
He said I will have to do it a couple times to get a near perfect shine. He didn't charge me anything, not even for the product. I asked him for a business card. If any locals have this probem then you can try to give him a call. He comes to you. Company is called VP Mobile Detailing, his name is Joe and his phone # is 626-260-7781 or email vpdetail@hotmail.com. Good luck guys.

I am happy and my rims are shine and spotless again.
