I'm looking to improve the handling and limit the lean of the car without killing the ride, and while I'd like a little bit of a drop, I don't want to have the car lowered very much - stylish yet still functional (hey, I need to be able to park in my driveway going over the "hump" on the sidewall, etc)

What are the different parts and brands you'd suggest without spending to much $$ (don't want to spend more than $500, $700 at most for the time being...)

Chiefy, do you have any mods to your suspension yet?

 

You can get the full revised oem Z suspension from one of the guys on my350z.com for $150-200 depending on the year. I'd go for the full 06 Zsuspension. It'll lower your ride an inch all the way around and give you the lower stance and better handling characteristics you desire without spending a lot of money. Throw in a set of stillen sways for $300 and you're set.

lol, ya, the price cap presents a challenge, and to answer someones question, no I don't have any suspesnion mods yet.

 

wow are these prices for new or used? if new i'd love to know where to get the Dspecs shipped for 500 and Zsprings for 70

 

Honestly, for an entry level suspension mod without spending too much the Z springs are the way to go. I too have an 03 sedan. It had sport suspension and I replaced it with Unrevised Z springs AND shocks from an 04 Z. The ride is basically about the same. No major difference except in the ride height of the vehicle. It dropped an even 1" all around. I bought mine from a guy on this forum for $125 for everything. It's funny and very self satisfying when you have your car at the carwash and a stock G is getting dried right next to your modded G. Happened to me today. Same color, same year. Guys - mine looked sooooooooo much better lowered with wheels, tint, etc. Here's what mine looks like on the Z springs. Hope this helps in your decision.
