Teid Flex rear noise problem

Teid Flex rear noise problem

i just got mine on yesterday.. and does anyone else suffer from the noise/rattling problem from the rear?

any solutions?

also, from the setting "0" softest to "16" the hardest can you actually feel the difference?~



yea.. sorry.. bad mispelled~

oh yeah change "teid" to "tein"

The top nut on the strut does not allways come tight from Tein.If it is loose the strut will make noise.Also if the EDFC is not on correctly it can fall off and rattle around.The only way to check is to remove the struts and look.

i had my mechanic tighten that top nut and it didnt help

I'll have to agree, there is nothing you can really do about the rattle noise. I have the Tein CS & I find the rattles very annoying too. I've looked at the entire setup & everything is tightened.

Be careful when adjusting your dampening, I've heard of many cases where you rotate & click more than 16 levels (even though it only has 16 levels). As well the clicks aren't very defined.

yep, very typical of TEIN coilovers. the only ones that didn't rattle on
my old car was the TypeNA which they don't sell anymore...

I have had no problems with my Tein Flex in over 1 1/2 years.You could also check your sway bar links,they sometimes make noise.
