hey redlude, you think you could help me with the cutting of my rear 350z h-tech's come spring time when I get my rims? I just wanna try and get rid of some of the gap if I need to after mounting the rims. I'll let you know when the time comes though.

i was thinking about cutting my s-tech but i was wondering does the quality of the ride suffer when u cut the springs??

You don't cut the springs, you cut the rubber springmount that sits at teh top, and ride comfort isn't affected in any way

Not only the rates of the springs are affected, but also, you might have a problem with your shock strokes. Springs are desigend to handle the % of compression and rebound of the shocks. If you shorten the length of the spring. The most significant issue you might experience is your shock botttoming out and hitting the bump stops.

what shocks are you guys running with the h-techs. I'm getting the h-techs in about a week. and I was wondering if I should change out the shocks.

lots of people go with the dspecs...but i think most people use their stock shocks
