Tein Flex with EDFC

I just picked up the Tein Flex coilover kit and the EDFC. I am really excited to have it installed and see what it can do in comparison to just springs. I hear it is a huge difference. My Tanabe DF210s give my G an aggressive a$$ stance and I love the way they make my G look but they are just way too low. I scrape on everything. I figured why go with another set of springs, might as well upgrade to coils. So who out there has Tein Flex coils with the EDFC?? And how do you like it?? Any recomendations/advice?? If anyone has pix, please feel free to post them too! Thanks!!

I had Flex's on my WRX (bug eyed) before my G.. and they're gangster! Messed around with the dampening, however, not too many different settings cuz I didn't have EDFC, and it's just.. well? Gangster!! lol.. I'm going to be picking em up after i'm done with the kit.

The springs are kinda stiff, they'll take some getting used to. The EDFC is way slick, you can really feel a difference. You can set the heights to whayever you want so you can pretty much pake the car look how ya like.

Ummm idk what youre talking about, but with the EDFC, you can only adjust dampening settings, not ride height.

I think what Roneski is saying is that the ride height is adjustable also so you can slam the car or have it at stock height. The EDFC only controls the dampening but you can manually adjust the height from no drop to a 3 inch drop. My drop right now is too low with my DF210s so I am gonna set it about 1/4-1/2 inch higher than what I have it right now.

Man, I must have been sleepy when I wrote that. Damned spelling errors.

The ride height is adjustable, but obviously not via the EDFC.

I had them installed a couple of months ago and I love them. I didn't want to lower the car that much, so when I had them first installed it was basically stock height. They have settled and it looks great. I still to scrape here and there though. Even on it's softest setting, they're still stiffer then the sport suspention. Does take a little getting used to.

BTW, if you need some help with the install, I got a friend in LB that did mine. He charges much less than a shop. Now that he's done mine, I'm sure it would go a lot smoother. PM me if you want the details.

you have to ride in it to know man. the mono rides better, and are more responsive. the monotube is the newest Flex model. it would be night and day in canyon runs.

Well, the guy I bought it from only had it on his G for 5,000 miles before he sold his G so it is a pretty new kit. I guess we will see but he had nothing but good things to say about it when it was on his G.

i'm saying, it's still good. the better buy would've been the mono's though.

It might be the mono's. I'm not sure. I'll give him a call to find out cuz I honestly don't know.
