Tein Flex with EDFC

Hey Hex....
On your EDFC, where did you mount the control module?
Considering the EDFC module for mine, but I don't know where to mount the module inside where it will look good and not micky mouse.

Mine is mounted near my left knee. It's basically right under where the VDC switch and trunk switch are. I didn't want it to be too visible but also wanted it in a place easy to access. I'll see if I can take a pic later so you can see.

That sounds like a good place. That was mine concern too not to be very visible.
I was thinking in the ashtray compartment, but don't know how big the module is and it would require a lot more work to go there. Probably more work than it's worth.
If you can find the time to snap and post a pix, that'll be cool. But if you don't, it's ok. I can visualize the module where yours is.
These things have wires from the servos to the module? Or are they wireless.
New to this EDFC set-up and never seen one installed.

I was gonna take pix yesterday after work but with the time change, it is now dark when I get out of work. I will take pix tomorrow during the day so you can see how I have it set up. And to answer your question, yes it has to be wired. I wish it was wireless cuz then it wouldn't be such a PITA to install. I called a few places to inquire about pricing to install the coils with the EDFC and the cheapest I got was $500. One place said they would do the coils but not the EDFC because it is a PITA.

Wow!!...Ouch!! 500 bones.
But, I can see where it be a pita especially from the rears with runnings wires to under the dash and gaining access to the tops of the rears in the first place.
Fronts not too bad, I guess, easy access and just go through the firewall and you're there.
The rears are my only gripe on design, being non accessible from the top in the trunk, unless you drill holes in the towers.
Fronts piece of pie, lift the hood and there they are...click, click.
That's cool you have your boyz at Status. You've known them for awhile, I think. I remember those sick pix of your 05 LR Skyline and you sporting their plate.

The only advantage of the monotubes would be on a road course/race track, etc due to their ability to cool themselves quicker. BTW, mines are the twin tube Flex. I don't know how much of a difference the mono tube would be but I have absolutely NO complaints. The more I drive this car with the Tein Flex coils, the more I love it.

but i'm still a fan of the HKS RS/LS lineup.
no need for EDFC.
and IMO a better ride.

I also looked into the HKS line and heard very good things about it. But like I said, I got such a good deal on these coils and the EDFC that I couldn't pass it up.
