Anyone install EDFC themselves on coupe?

The front is pretty straight forward... just wondering about the rear shock absorber. Where do I access the "dampening rod" from inside the cabin to affix the motor to?
I've installed at least a dozen...
You have to drill a small hole to run the connector through. I would afix the EDFC motor onto the coilover first, then feed the connector through the hole. Be sure to use a grommet so that after time, the wire doesn't get cut from rubbing against the edge of the hole.

you do it by connecting the log wire to the shock/EDFC motor prior to installation. You can then thread the small end though one of the rear holes that enclose the shock area. Of course I figured that out AFTER I had cut larger holes to get the plugs through. You loose about a foot of cord but theres more then enough wire to run it up front under the carpet.

I did the fronts without a problem. I already had a hole in the grommet behind the battery for my amp, so I passed the cables through there. As for the rears, you don't need to drill a new hole. You just need to enlarge the openings to allow the connector to fit through. I tried with a friend for 30 minutes trying to get the connector to pass through, but its just a couple of millimeters too thick.
Anyone have a good recommendation on where to tap constant power from in the center console area? I was able to get illumination and acc from the heated switch. Having trouble finding constant power though, without having to undo the radio/HVAC.

You have any pics of the routing of the wire?

Good to know, thank you.
I'll be doing mine in the next couple weeks.
Once you get things taken apart its pretty self explanitory...
Like said above... It is easiest to attach the motor to the rear dampers first before installing them...
Wiring is pretty straight forward if you have done any stereo wiring before...
