The 2003 5AT G35's had premature brake wear issues which is why they had a 3 year/36000 mile unlimited brake service. The pads would create so much brake dust I had to upgrade. The new brake pads in the later models aren't much better. That's why I swiched to the Brembo calipers and Hawk pads.

Odd. I dont think I have ever gotten more than 30,000 out of pads before.
I have 41000 and started to have a light squeek on braking. I was ready to change the front, took off the wheel and I still have 50% pad remaining. Cool! Made my Saturday a bit less work intensive!
I guess the squeek is probably just brake dust, debri on the pads. Looks like I am going to get around 50000 out of these. Weird.
