Brakes question??

I have 03 g35 coup and I’m in the middle between two Brakes Company?
AP Racing AP Racing 6-Piston Big Brake Kits
For the biggest brake system upgrade, Brake Pros offers world renown AP Racing 6-piston calipers running on 2-piece rotors. Each kit is designed to work with the original equipment master cylinder, ABS and traction control systems. Specially-designed 2-piece rotors are cross-drilled and slotted, the optimum for high-performance street, autocross and occasional track day use. Slotted-only versions are available for the serious track enthusiast. The curved vane construction provides maximum cooling, while significantly reducing unsprung weight.

DOT-compliant and TـV-approved stainless steel lines are included to top off the upgrade and provide a huge improvement in pedal feel and stiffness. Brackets and hardware are made from aerospace-grade materials and high-strength fasteners. All AP Racing kits are complete with no other parts required. Install, bleed and go!

Many kits require 17" wheels or larger with sufficient spoke clearance. Download a brake profile template to check your wheels before ordering. Put decades of championship-winning experience on your car. It's not just for Formula One and NASCAR winners anymore. Or LeMans, or British Touring Cars, or WRC, or Grand Am, or Super GT, or DTM...

Go with the larger Brembo kit if you can afford it. Not the 12.8 kit, that's the oem brembo size. Go with the 355mm kit.

I would also consider Wilwood, Racing Brake and Stoptech.

Ap racing is all you need. THe brembos are a bit rediculous on our cars exspecially the 355mm kit unless you are going to HARDCORE tracking the car. Ap racing is what VRT uses and alot of other SCCA cars. Brembos are used in the SCCA GT series as well but those cars need them we dont.

I would go with ap racing.

I recently went to mynismo in duarte, and i was talking to the guy that sold me some crawford cats about his z. he has the 6 piston ap's, i asked him pros and cons about them cuz i want them. he said pad life is noticably longer cuz the larger surface area, and that the performance was great. i think if a tech guy @ a nissan performance place says good things about them even over the brembos its always a good thing. the cons he said were that since they have uniquely designed vents in the rotors, they are real expensive to replace. also the only pads you can get for replacement on these are from germany and italy n junk. so cost of maintenance is a bit more. imo they are worth it. i will get them soon for mine...

What you should do is also put Price as a consideration. If you are going to go with the Grand Turismo Brembo with the larger 355 mm, then I'm sure the price is way up there. So, if you had the choice between the two, with same size rotors, pistons, etc. and the price is about the same, go with the Brembos. However, I can already see the Brembos costing way more.

Clearance may be an issue with the Brembos depending on your offsets and spoke design. The Brembos have some of the largest (widest) calipers on the market.

If I may ask, what made you narrow it down between AP and Brembo?
