lowered now.... need a little help...

i just lowered my car yesterday. it took my friend freaking 5 hours to do it but its was okay since i took his car to work and it was finished when i came back. it didn't look any lower until i tried to go into my back driveway and heard that ugly noise.

my service engine light went on and there was this 8 screen thing on my navigation about the gas cap. do you think it could be from the suspnsion?

and my rims don't go on until i buy new tires. the guy at nissan said that my stock tires should fit the 18" bronze nismo lmgt4 but then my tires are 18x8.5 when the nismo rims are 18x9.5. so the front fits but not the back. and since the back are 9.5 i think it might rub if i have people in the back since it's going to so close to the edge of the i think wheel wall. so i might have to shave a little of the inside off?

check your gas cap... i know with some cars, if your gas cap is loose, it turns on your check engine light because you have a major purge leak in the evap system.
