im lowering over an inch, do i need a toe kit?
Most camber kits include toe adjustments such as the SPC rear kit, which is the most commonly used one here for the G, front a-arms also have toe adjustments, so a camber kit usually provides extra toe adjustment as well.
OK -
If you drop the car AT ALL - your toe and camber will go out of line. Toe is adjustable front and rear, but if you drop 1" or more, you'll need the toe bolts for the rear. There is more adjustment in the front stock, so you'll likely be OK with toe there.
NOW - camber - you'll NEED to adjust camber for handling, control, and tire wear. You WILL NEED rear camber kits and front kits if you go over 1/2". The lower the car, the more negative the camber is, and there is ZERO factory adjustment for camber on the car. The best setup I have seen, regardless of money spent, are the SPC kits - for both front and rear. Get the toe bolts for the rear as well.
The kits will give you ALL you need for rear toe and camber adjustment, and camber, caster and toe for the front. The SPC kits are also the cheaper ones overall for an entire car solution.
What happens if you don't do the camber adjustment? Well, tires will wear faster on the inside edges. How much faster, depends on the drop and how much MORE negative camber you have than stock. Our cars are negative cambered to begin with and will wear unevenly to begin with. I got 10,000 out of my tires before putting the front kits on them...but I could have gone longer....BUT NOT A GREAT IDEA!!!
Why? Well handling will suffer immensely. When you go over bumps, the entire car will shift to the right or left, depending on which side has more camber...this is really unsafe and scary when it happens and your not ready for it. Also, general handling and traction will suffer - because the contact patch is reduced by 20%-30% - sometimes more.
If you lower your car - with springs, coil-overs, etc...no matter what, you will need to adjust camber. some of the advanced coil-overs have camber adjustment in the upper ***** - but they are more than 2X the money of the non-adjustable coil-overs AND more than 4X the cost of the SPC front camber kits to begin with.
Bottom line - if you lower - adjust the camber and toe properly with a proper kit. SPC's kit rocks and has a huge amount of adjustment.

I agree wiuth everything you said ismsolutions, except the spc front camber
lots of people claim to have problems with the front cambers braking which is why spc has reconstructed their front a-arms
i went basic coilovers, 350evo a-arms, and spc rear w. toe bolts
also getting the stillen sway bars for even better handling
I figure with RAS on my car already, the sways will be amazing

The only SPC issues I know of, are the spacers - don't install them, as they will freak out the ABS system and VDC. You have to relocate/make a new bracket for the wheel sensor to resolve it. But that amount of additional correction for street driver dropped cars, is unlikely anyway.

Btw, the breakage is Kinetix, not SPC. Its just people installing it wrong.

Im not a fan of the flimsy design of the cusco although others may disagree. Its around the same price and I have been using SPC for over 5 years for racing and have never broke, etc. Its a great product and the company is great to deal with. thats why we are the Midwest Master Distributor of SPC
