question on 2007 brakes?

Ok so i have a 2004 g coupe with-OUT the brembo brakes. After doing some research i found out that my brakes are 11.6 inch front and 11.5 rear in rotor size. I also found that the 2006-2007 g coupe came with 12.6 and 12.1 front and rear rotor sizes. My question is when it comes time to get new brakes can i simply order the 2007 rotors and pads and just swap them on or is it not compatable??? Furthermore will i have a noticeable diference in stopping power ???? Tried searching and found nothing so id appreciate anyone's insight thanks in advance

the brake caliper wont fit on. I know some BBK kits have brackets to raise the height of the stock caliper (inexpensive alternative to new calipers), but that comes with their larger rotors.

I have a 2k4 coupe and I swapped out my 2k4 brakes for the 2k6 brakes (calipers). Everything is a direct bolt on. I have cross drilled and slotted rotors and SS brakelines from R1 Concepts (also in the 2k6 12.6" front and 12.1" rear). There is less brake fade compared to the 2k4 brakes. The SS brake lines give you a little better brake feel. I am completly satisfide with the swap. (they also look better than the smaller 2k4 brakes)

To keep the same level of brake ballance you need the rears also. The rear calipers are the same but are pushed out a little bit to fit the larger rotor. You won't need anything else. Every thing bolts right up to the factory spots.

You can check with the dealer but you may be better off buying from someone who put a BBK on their "G". You can save a lot of money that way. Thats how I got my set.

Here's another option that I was looking at: 13" Racing Brake OE Caliper BBK

What's nice is that you get a 13" rotor, however, I believe the front calipers on the '05+ are better than the older '03-'04 calipers.

Yep, the '05+ calipers are two piston.

If I put the 05+ calipers on 05+ sized rotors, do I need to replace my spare tire with a bigger one, or will it still fit?
