My alignment spcs....

How do my alignment specs look to you guys. I was told my Firestone that the front camber or caster is not adjustable per Nissan. Is that true? I dropped the car on 350Z springs.

Let me know

Front Left

Camber -1.1
Caster 8.1
Toe 0.02

Front Right

Camber -1.4
Caster 8.1
Toe 0.03

Rear Left

Camber -1.2
Toe 0.09

Rear Right

Camber -1.1
Toe 0.10

I bought the lifetime alignment warranty so if something needs to be changed let me know and I will go back and have them make the adjustments.

Lifetime alignments sound like firestone?... I didn't know they did a 4 wheel alignment you will need a 4 wheel alignment. Now are these where your specs are now or what they adjusted them to? I don't have my spec sheet in front of me but others will chime in on this about the specs but if they will not do a 4 wheel take your business someplace else.

^^^
All Firestone's do a 4 wheel alignment, unless the vehicle does not have rear adjustments, the price doesnt change either way.

They are correct, there is no front camber/caster adjustments from the factory on our cars.

Those specs are pretty much spot on, they did you good. Just make sure you take it back every 6 months, 6k miles to have it checked.

Okay they told me they didn't do 4 wheel alignments when I wanted to get an alignment done there after my spring install. The alignment for life is a good deal. I'll look into that when I move back to the mainland.

Question for for the others. I'll be dropping my car next weekend on Z springs up front & coupe springs in the rear. When they do the alignment, will they automatically know what specs to use for it? (i.e. do they have to use the Z/Coupe specs, since those are the springs I'll be using, or do they use the sedan specs.)? I'm confused now (myg35x's post w/ the Coupe specs threw me off here).

Thanks

you can get the specs set for a coupe or sedan, either way they should try to max out the camber in the rear, the Toe settings are the same for the coupe and sedan. If you want it to look pretty on paper, have it set to the coupe specs.

yes sir they will. I have 4 G coupes here in SanDiego that all bought liftime alignment policies at the Firestone i work at. There is also a couple slammed civics that we do as well. As long as they have a competent tech that wont rip off your sideskirts when pulling up the ramp then it's no problem.
