Looked into it. The rear struts on the g35 are very close to the rear struts on the 350z. The are up high and there is already a steel fram that goes from one side of the car to the other. The struts on the g35 actually come up right next to the 6 x 9 speakers on the rear deck. Since there is already a steel support that goes from one side to the other the rear "strut" bar is kind of pointless. It wouldn't even attach to the struts.

The s14 240sx also developed a rear strut setup similar to the Z/G, just earlier. the struts go allll the way up (have to be 30" plus long struts) to the rear deck behind the seats and its all connected sheetmetal. the aftermarket caters to the need for bars and makes them but most will say it makes a marginal improvement.

interestingly enough the JDM-only S15 received some extra bracing in the trunk by way of a trunk pan brace, something like that could be made up.

Supposedly it was only available in the Spec-R version, so if Nissan and Nismo thought it should be there it must work out somehow.

Also the Z32 had an available rear ladder bar from do-luck which esstential did the samething except it was under the car:

also you could take that idea further and x-brace it from one opposite cornerd strut housing to the next then back to opposite side

or simply do what gt-spec has done for other cars out there and box it:
