which way should the slots be facing on the car, should the curve of the slots be towards the front or rear of the car. or does it matter. i have noticed on brembos the slots cuving forward.

For the most part, typically when the rotor spins, the slots should be situated so that the outer portion of the slot points towards the opposite direction that you are spinning the rotor, and the lower portion points in the same direction you are spinning.
This is usually how it's supposed to be, becuase the centripetal force will force any material in the slots out the slots, as it spins around... If the slots are pointed the other-way, this won't happen as easily.
Slot direction has no impact on performance and the direction will not help to affect the ability to sweep away debris. If the internal vanes of the rotors are directional, then they need to be installed on the correect side of the car to maximize airflow. If the rotor has straight vanes as most OE replacements do, then they can be installed on either side with no differece in performance. Our SportStop stock replacement rotors will be marked as left or right, even on straight vaned rotors, but that is to keep consistency with our big brake kit AeroRotors which are directional and need to be installed with slots facing a specific direction.
Not only agreed but here are some futher ideas if you have a mill at home....lol
